Win the Big Bucks in the Big Bass Bash this Weekend

Anglers from all over the nation will roll into the Lake of the Ozarks this weekend for the Big Bash Bash.  With a chance of winning $100,000, amateur anglers have a chance to make money like the pros.  Learn how you can register in one of the largest bass fishing tournaments in the nation in this week’s blog.  


The Big Bass Bash is October 5th & 6th from 7 am to 3 pm each day. The awards ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm on Sunday the 6th at PB #2 (Grand Glaize State Park).  To register for the tournament you have a few options.  
You can register online at https://midwestfishtournaments.wufoo.com/forms/m2yvw8e1vbhnjs/  or Friday, October 4th you can register in person at the Grand Glaize State Park (PB2).  There will be several vendors set up throughout the day that you can check out.  Friday registration will run from 12 pm - 8 pm.  Anglers can also register Saturday and Sunday at any of the weigh-in locations starting at 6 am.  

Entry Fees:
  • 2 day - $180  1 day - $130
  • 17 and younger receive half off entry fee
  • Kids Division:  $10 per day

Bonus T-Shirt Contest
The t-shirts are $10 and quantities are limited.  If you have an official t-shirt in your possession and come in 36th place in any time slot you will win $125.  

Early Bird Prizes
If you entered by midnight on September 23, 2019, you will be eligible for the early bird drawings.  Drawings will be held on Sunday 10/6 at the awards ceremony and you must be present to win.  

Ladies Bonus
The lady that weighs in the heaviest bass of the weekend will win a $1000 bonus.

The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse on Horseshoe Bend Parkway in Lake Ozark was originally "born & raised" in Oak Park, Ohio. (Yes, you read that right. Cool, huh? So keep reading!) Exactly how does a farm building cross state lines to become the best BBQ restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks ? Well, that's a fascinating story... Oak Harbor Origins The original barn that is now the home of the best smoked BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks  was built in Oak Harbor, Ohio, during the early 1850s. Oak Harbor got its name due to the importance of a nearby Portage River and the large stands of virgin White Oak abundant in the area.  By 1850, Oak Harbor had become a community of 38 dwellings with 187 people.
