BBQ and Football - The Perfect Pair!

The Kansas City Chiefs are a popular team with most diners at our Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant & smokehouse. We all love seeing a Missouri team win their way to (hopefully) another Superbowl! (Fingers crossed and knock on barn-wood!)

Watching the playoff games plus the "big game" is a huge event for football fans. An event like this deserves a big table full of delicious eats to go along with it. The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse in Lake Ozark is here to take care of that!

Here are a few ideas on the perfect foods to enjoy while you watch the games. Order a little if it's just you and the family or if you're hosting a watch party, order the best BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks in bulk. (We love catering parties and events!)

Ribs & Wings

Although they can get messy, wings and ribs seem to pair perfectly with watching football. As long as you have plenty of napkins handy, these tasty treats are a great idea for munching on a few at a time throughout the game.

All of our meats are smoked fresh daily. For ribs, you can order anywhere from a 4-rib dinner to a half or full slab of melt-in-your-mouth, smoked BBQ goodness. When it comes to wings, you can get 6, 12, or 24 per order.

Smoked Meat Sandwiches

Another great option for feeding the crowd at a football party is to set out a variety of smoked meats, buns, and a nice selection of BBQ sauces. Here at The Barn, we've got 5 fantastic sauces available daily.

  • House Sweet
  • Tangy
  • Mustard Sauce
  • Alabama White Sauce
  • Tennessee Hot

Everyone can create their own sandwiches when they're ready to eat. If you opt for slider buns, that makes it easier for everyone to try each type of meat and the smaller portions make it possible to enjoy a little at a time throughout the game.

As for savory smoked meats, The Barn-B-Que offers:

  • Pulled Pork
  • Brisket
  • Turkey
  • Ham
  • Sausage
  • Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage

Don't Forget the Sides

While the main dish is important, it's the homestyle side dishes that make it a meal! We've got a wonderful selection of made-from-scratch sides to choose from. Many of these are available in "bulk" by the quart or the gallon.

  • Grandma Jayne's Camp Beans
  • Grandma Jayne's Old-Fashioned Mustard Potato Salad
  • Southern Style Green Beans
  • Picnic Cole Slaw
  • Mac -N- Cheese
  • Chunky Apple Sauce
  • Fried Okra
  • Fresh Fries
  • Tater Tots
  • Cornbread Muffins

Our Carry-Out Combos Have It All!

Instead of picking and choosing ala carte from the menu at our family restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks, you might instead want to check out our Easy Carry-Out Combos. (Get all the details on those combos right here.) These gigantic meals are enough to feed anywhere from 4-8 people.

You get a wonderful variety of smoked meats, buns, and side dishes. Got more than 8 guests at your gathering? Order more than one of our Easy Carry-Out Combo Meals!
