We serve lots of different deliciously smoked meats at The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse in Lake Ozark, each irresistible in their own ways. Today we're putting the focus on chicken. It tastes great baked, grilled, and fried but once you've tasted it smoked from our Lake of the Ozarks BBQ restaurant, that may be the only way you'll ever want to eat it again! 

Half-Chicken Dinner
A hearty appetite calls for a great big helping of savory smoked chicken! Our BBQ Chicken Dinner comes with a half of a smoked chicken plus your choice of 2 of our made-from-scratch side dishes. 

Chicken & Ribs Combo
Half a chicken not enough to satisfy your appetite? This delicious dinner adds a half slab of our amazing ribs to the plate plus you still get to pick 2 side dishes!  

Barn-B-Que Salad
If you're trying to get more vegetables into your diet but cannot resist our smoked meats, then the Barn-B-Que Salad may be exactly what you need. We take a heaping helping of fresh greens and top those with tomatoes, cheddar cheese, red onion, and your choice of smoked meats, which include pulled chicken, turkey, pork, or brisket. 

Wings
These juicy, jumbo wings are seasoned with our very own house rub and slowly smoked to perfection. Each order comes with your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing. They are available in orders of 6, 12, or 24. 

Quesadillas
Our chicken quesadillas consist of a soft flour tortilla folded over and stuffed full of smoked chicken, melted mozzarella, and sauteed onions & peppers, then served with salsa and sour cream. If you're not in a chicken mood, you may choose to have pork or brisket instead. 

Tacos
Everyone loves tacos already but they're even more amazing when the meat inside is smoked! We offer chicken, pork, and brisket tacos on the menu. The chicken taco meal consists of 3 flour tortillas stuffed with smoked chicken that is topped with Pico de Gallo, shredded cheese, and served with fresh lime wedges, sour cream, and one side dish. 

Farm Nachos
This great big order of fantastic flavors is a fan favorite! We take a tortilla chip base and pile it high with camp beans, queso cheese, sour cream, and a drizzle of our house sweet sauce. For the meat, you may choose chicken, pork, or brisket. 

Which Came 1st - the Chicken or the Egg?

It's an age-old question and while we don't have the answer, we do serve both chicken and eggs at The Barn-B-Que. Every Friday-Sunday from 8-11 am, we open up early to serve the best breakfast at the Lake of the Ozarks! If you haven't given it a try yet, be sure to add that to your to-do list real soon!

The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse on Horseshoe Bend Parkway in Lake Ozark was originally "born & raised" in Oak Park, Ohio. (Yes, you read that right. Cool, huh? So keep reading!) Exactly how does a farm building cross state lines to become the best BBQ restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks ? Well, that's a fascinating story... Oak Harbor Origins The original barn that is now the home of the best smoked BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks  was built in Oak Harbor, Ohio, during the early 1850s. Oak Harbor got its name due to the importance of a nearby Portage River and the large stands of virgin White Oak abundant in the area.  By 1850, Oak Harbor had become a community of 38 dwellings with 187 people.
