Valentine's Day is THIS WEEKEND! Are you ready? No worries if it snuck up on you because here at The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse in Lake Ozark, we've got some deliciously romantic plans all laid out for you! If you'll be spending Valentine's Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks, head on over to the Barn for a fantastic meal and some incredible live entertainment. 

Live Music - Trev & Dev

The Barn-B-Que is thrilled to offer some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks with the amazing musical stylings of Trev & Dev on Saturday, February  13, 2021, from 7:00-10:00 pm. Have you had a chance to hear these talented fellas play yet? 

Imagine if two guys were tossed into a garbage can full of good music and allowed to age like a fine wine. That's Trev & Dev! These two friends have been playing together for a long time, performing a little bit of everything to satisfy the musical preferences of everyone in the crowd. We suggest getting here early for a great seat because once these gentlemen begin performing, we expect people to stick around for the entire show! 


Dinner, Drinks, & Something Sweet

A special day deserves a special meal so we have put together a Valentine's Day dinner special that will make your mouths water! You can still order your favorite foods from our regular menu too, but the dinner combination we've come up with is pretty irresistible. 

Our Valentine's Day special will be available on both Saturday and Sunday. It will include a savory Prime Rib served with a side salad and a baked potato. Be sure to come in good and hungry because we'll also be serving Grandma Jayne's homemade Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie for dessert with that! 

Sunday Happy Hour

Valentine's Day officially falls on Sunday this year, which also happens to be the day when we host the best Happy Hour at the Lake of the Ozarks all day long! Treat your valentine (and yourself) to some terrific drink specials plus all of our appetizers are half-price! Let them splurge and order all they want because you'll be getting those items at a great price! 

If you plan to stay in this year and enjoy a romantic candlelit meal with your sweetheart instead, let us do the cooking! You can easily order BBQ to-go online through our website. The Fascinating History of How a Barn From Ohio Became The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse at the Lake of the Ozarks!

The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse on Horseshoe Bend Parkway in Lake Ozark was originally "born & raised" in Oak Park, Ohio. (Yes, you read that right. Cool, huh? So keep reading!) Exactly how does a farm building cross state lines to become the best BBQ restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks ? Well, that's a fascinating story... Oak Harbor Origins The original barn that is now the home of the best smoked BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks  was built in Oak Harbor, Ohio, during the early 1850s. Oak Harbor got its name due to the importance of a nearby Portage River and the large stands of virgin White Oak abundant in the area.  By 1850, Oak Harbor had become a community of 38 dwellings with 187 people.
