We strive to make every day that you dine at The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse in Lake Ozarks an enjoyable experience. There are certain days and times, however, that we make things a little more intriguing than usual at our BBQ restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks. In addition to the occasional lunch or dinner special, right now we are hosting these regular weekly specials for your delicious enjoyment. 

Weekday AND Sunday Happy Hours

This time of year the best Happy Hour at the Lake of the Ozarks happens at The Barn-B-Que 6 days a week! That's every Monday-Friday from 3:00-6:00 pm and all day every Sunday. Just what makes these hours happier than the rest? Our Happy Hour specials are a big part of the reason for that!

A great Happy Hour has to have drink specials. Our deals include half-price AB/Miller beers, wine, and well drinks. Of course, we wanted to go above and beyond "the norm" so we also offer half-price appetizers during Happy Hour, which includes our entire list of amazing apps! These include: 

  • Smoked Wings
  • 4X4 (4 Baby Back Ribs & 4 Wings)
  • Cornbread Muffin
  • Blue Cheesy Tots
  • Loaded Fries
  • Fried Okra
  • Quesadillas (Pork, Chicken, or Brisket)
  • Farm Nachos (Pork, Chicken, or Brisket)

Buck-A-Bone Monday

Every single Monday, all day long, we've got a bonus food special in store for everyone dining with us at The Barn. Our Baby Back Ribs are only $1 per bone! (4 to an order.) We know a lot of you dread Mondays every week. This delicious special makes the beginning of the week a little easier to handle! 

Taco Tuesday

Tacos at a BBQ joint? With smoked meats as delicious as ours, why not!?! Our regular orders of tacos from the menu come in orders of 3 with a side dish. Every Tuesday when you dine-in at The Barn, you can order those tasty tacos ala carte at a wonderful price. 

Pork or Chicken Tacos are just $2 each, served on a flour tortilla with Pico de Gallo, shredded cheese, sour cream, and fresh lime wedges. Brisket Tacos are only $2.50 each. They are also served on a flour tortilla and come with salsa verde, cilantro, grilled onions, shredded cheese, and fresh lime wedges. 

Wing Wednesday

Every Wednesday, all day long, our irresistible wings are only 50-cents a piece! These jumbo chicken wings are seasoned with our house rub and slowly smoked to perfection. This is a dine-in only special and wings come in orders of 6.  

Breakfast Friday-Sunday

For you early-risers, the best breakfast at the Lake of the Ozarks is served right here at The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 am-11:00 pm. There are lots of early-morning meal options that feature our fantastic hickory-smoked meats and eggs in a variety of delicious ways. 

We also have pancakes and French toast on the menu, biscuits and gravy, quinoa muffins, yogurt and fruit parfaits, and a whole lot more. This may be just the reason you need to get out of bed early on the weekends! 

We're always making plans here at the Barn for ways to keep our wonderful diners happy. Occasionally we host live music in the dining room. Every Thursday our very own Grandma Jayne stops by to whip up another batch of her homemade desserts. From time to time we even cook up a daily special that is not normally found on our regular menu.

Of course, swinging by often and checking us out in person is another excellent way to always stay in-the-know, plus, we love it when you stop by!

The Fascinating History of How a Barn From Ohio Became The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse at the Lake of the Ozarks!

The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse on Horseshoe Bend Parkway in Lake Ozark was originally "born & raised" in Oak Park, Ohio. (Yes, you read that right. Cool, huh? So keep reading!) Exactly how does a farm building cross state lines to become the best BBQ restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks ? Well, that's a fascinating story... Oak Harbor Origins The original barn that is now the home of the best smoked BBQ at the Lake of the Ozarks  was built in Oak Harbor, Ohio, during the early 1850s. Oak Harbor got its name due to the importance of a nearby Portage River and the large stands of virgin White Oak abundant in the area.  By 1850, Oak Harbor had become a community of 38 dwellings with 187 people.
